We can't resolve your individual report, but we use reports to investigate and bring cases against fraud, scams, and bad business practices.

The Federal Trade Commission, the nation's consumer protection agency, collects reports about companies, business practices, and identity theft under the FTC Act and other laws we enforce or administer.
Why: Your reports can help us detect patterns of wrongdoing, and lead to investigations and prosecutions. The FTC enters reports it receives into Consumer Sentinel, a secure online database that is used by civil and criminal law enforcement authorities worldwide. The FTC does not resolve individual consumer reports.
Your Privacy: How much personal information you provide is up to you. We may share such information with others, including the subject of your report to resolve or investigate it, with other law enforcement authorities or organizations, or in connection with court or administrative proceedings, in response to other legal process or requirements, or for other authorized routine uses. Those uses are described in the Privacy Act system notices for the FTC's record systems, including our consumer information and nonpublic legal records systems.
